Camp Sunshine offers a variety of camps for children with cancer. We came to know camp sunshine when Coulter was sick.
He was so excited to go to camp....he really wanted to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. Unfortunately, we only made it
half way through the night before we had to head to the hospital. He was SO disappointed. We remember, though, the compassion
he was shown and the warm welcome we recieved. Camp Sunshine provides a camp for bereaved parents to have the opportunity
to visit a place where their children were truly happy. For us, we go to feel Coulter's spirit and revisit the excitement
fun of Camp Sunshine.

Have you bought your new liscense plate yet?! When JoAnna passed away her family took on a mission similar to ours...to
help other families in need. Support Cancer Kids operates out of middle Georgia.
I first read about this group in Readers Digest....we signed Coulter up and have been recieving notes of
encouragement ever since! The first child we helped, Katia, was connected to Hugs and Hope....we helped them with Christmas.
This October, I will be sending a birthday care package to a young man named Jared Alexander who's little sister is very sick.
Take the time to check this one out....this is an easy thing for younger children to participate in ...especially if they
like mail!
This site will connect you with just about anything you could want to volunteer for! We regularly add our events to this
site.....just type in our zip code to see how you can help in Fairmount.

There is always a need for blood by patients living with cancer. If you can't do anything else.....donate
blood, platelets, or red cells. The typical donation of one pint of blood can save three patients.
It was the generosity of friends and strangers that kept Coulter alive when he needed blood products so desperately.
There are many more children who need help.
